As a father, John Lloyd Cruz only has this simple dream for his son
Award-winning actor John Lloyd Cruz, who is now a father for the first time, shared his simple dream for his son Elias Modesto.
Lloydie embraced the new chapter of his life with a clearer vision. Being a father has thought him a lot and he is happy to have this opportunity in his life.
In his recent Mega Entertainment interview, the A-list actor admitted that fatherhood is not that easy but at the same time rewarding. When he was asked what in himself he sees in Elias, he said that he doesn’t want to see himself in his son.
However, he answered on the second time he was asked that he sees that they have similar eyes and lips. “Meron siyang ginagawa sa bibig niya, sa mata na kakabahan ka eh kasi… pero magbabago pa naman ‘yon. But he’s very stubborn like me and like the mother,” John Lloyd Cruz said about his son.

The actor also shared the simple things he does with Elias but it delights his heart. He mentioned that when his son was about to sleep and would still make an effort to stay up a little longer despite being sleepy, that is the time when he knows that his son had a good day.
Lloydie also shared that he is not splurging Elias with expensive toys. What makes him proud as a father is when he sees Elias playing with an object like a stone in a garden and pretended that it is a cave or a fish.
“Parang pag nakikita ko yung mga ganung moments parang napa-proud ako. And pinakaproud ako hearing him say ‘please’ and ‘thank you,’” the actor shared
John Lloyd Cruz said that it is his simple dream for his son. “Yun lang naman yung parang munting pangarap ko nung pinanganak siya na sana matuto siya mag ‘please’ at ‘thank you,’” he said.
