Police authorities seized P2 million worth of illegal plant called “Maryjane” allegedly stuffed inside cartons of dried fish in Kalinga due to dog.
After being dug up by a dog in sitio Ngilin Poblacion, Tinglayan, Kalinga, more than P2 million worth of marijuana was stuffed with dried fish in two containers. Some residents reported that a dog was carrying two containers with illicit plants.
Up to 19 marijuana bricks totaling roughly 18 kilos were recovered, according to PCol. Davy Vicente Limmong, Provincial Director of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office or KPPO. It’s probable that the stray dog was able to dig up the cargo due to the fish’s strong odor.
