Father Stabs 2 Daughters to Death and Tries to Stab Officer in Catanduanes
Police arrested a 40-year-old father after he allegedly stabs his two (2) daughters to death and tried to stab officers in Catanduanes.
Last night in Barangay Western Poblacion, Baras, Catanduanes, a father was detained after stabbing his two daughters to death. According to the report, operatives reacted to a call reporting his wife slicing her wrist.

According to Police Lt. Col Edgar Clerigo, Provincial Community Affairs and Development-Public Information Office of Catanduanes, Baras Municipal Police Station, when the operatives arrived, they discovered the lying bodies of lifeless youngsters in the floor filled with blood.
After attempting to attack responding officers with a knife, the suspect was shot. As a result, a bullet wound to the right side of the thigh was sustained by the suspect.
The injured suspect and the two stabbed children, ages 8 and 9, were rushed to Bato Maternity Hospital for treatment, but the two youngsters were pronounced dead on arrival (DOA). The suspect is presently healing in a Virac Town hospital. He will also be charged with the murders of two children.
