DSWD Seized 3 Minors Involved in Caloocan Riot, Molotov Throwing

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is now holding the three minors who were caught involved in Caloocan Riot.

In recent clashes in Malabon City and Caloocan City, youngsters utilized Molotov bombs, putting some houses in jeopardy. Six of them were arrested by police, while the three youngsters were taken into custody by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Minors in Caloocan Riot

Even though it is already two a.m. and curfew hour, some adolescents in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City, are still on the road, according to Kaye Lomongo’s photo. One party was armed with a stick, while the other was armed with a Molotov cocktail.

When a Molotov cocktail landed on the power cord, it almost caught fire. When they heard the police wang-wang, the teenagers immediately trembled. Lamongo further reported that one of the youths was seen with a gun by a coworker.

Six teenagers, five of whom were 18 years old and one of whom was 17 years old, went missing on that day. Adults will be charged with causing alarm and scandal, as well as illegally possessing bladed weapons.

The minor was taken into the care of Malabon’s social welfare department. It was not the first time the kids had rioted, according to police.

This was also the scenario at Caloocan City, where Molotov cocktails were deployed. A group of Caloocan and Malabon citizens rioted, according to Caloocan City Police.
