Here’s Michael Cinco Message to Miss Universe Canada Handlers
MICHAEL CINCO – Renowned designer Michael Cinco sent a message to Miss Universe Canada handlers about getting help from Filipino designers for future pageants.
The handler of Miss Universe Canada 2020 Nova Stevens accused world-renowned designer Michael Cinco of “sabotaging” her gown during the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. MGmode Communications said her gowns were sent late and ill-fitting.
The Dubai-based Filipino designer published a lengthy Facebook post calling out the beauty queen and her team. He shared the alleged scam he experienced from them and said the credibility of his team has been tarnished due to their claim.
Michael Cinco called Nova Stevens “ungrateful” and said she has been spreading fake news about him and his team being unprofessional days before the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
“I chose to be quiet and calm. But this time, I need to stand up for me and my team, as it is just so unfair!” he added.
In a previous article, the beauty queen addressed the controversy she got embroiled with the designer and her team. She said the gown issue hurt her because he has nothing but “love” for both parties.

Michael Cinco also sent a message to Miss Universe Canada’s team about getting help from Pinoy designers for their future pageants. He said, “Next time, don’t use Filipino designers, use designers from your country and represent them on the world stage so you will be happy and not think that we are sabotaging your candidates.”
As of this writing, his post has garnered 41 thousand shares, 90K reactions, and 3.3K comments from supportive Pinoys and his clients.
Recently, Filipino designer Rian Fernandez also shared his horrible experience with the organization. He shared talked about his collaboration with the team starting from Sierra Bearchell in 2016 and Marta Magdalena Stepien in 2018.
