Michael Cinco Claps Back After Miss Universe Canada’s Team Accused Him of Sabotaging Nova Steven’s gowns
MICHAEL CINCO – World-renowned designer Michael Cinco lashed out at the team of Miss Universe Canada 2020 Nova Stevens for allegedly sabotaging her gown.
Following a previous article, the handers of Miss Universe Canada 2020 Nova Stevens accused Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco of sabotaging the beauty queen’s gown. They said the gowns were sent late and ill-fitting.
Nova’s publicists also wrote that the incident also happened to the candidates they handled during the Miss Universe 2019, Miss Uruguay and Argentina. Now, MGmode Communications accused the Filipino designer of being unprofessional in the recently held Miss Universe pageant.
Michael Cinco recently published a lengthy Facebook post calling out Nova Stevens and MGmode. In the post, he shut down claims by Nova’s team that his gowns arrived late and did not fit her well.
The world-renowned designer initially responded to the allegations by replying to Nova’s team’s comment, but as the post bearing it has been deleted, he aired his side once more on his personal Facebook account.
Michael Cinco addressed his statement to the whole team of Miss Canada including Natalie Glebova, Denis Martin Davila, Miguel Martinez, and Miss Canada Organization and their “ungrateful Miss Canada Nova Stevens.”
The designer raised several points: first, he said Nova’s gown arrived on time and it fit her “perfectly.” He wrote, “The gowns arrived on time. Or how could you have sent me photos and videos of her wearing them, showing how the gowns perfectly fitted her, days before each event. You even posted a video of Nova in her last fitting and she was happy.”
Second, Michael Cinco said the insinuation that his team was trying to sabotage Miss Canada’s claim to the crown was “just absurd.” The Pinoy designer said he even went out of his way by using his own money for Nova Steven’s photoshoot.
He hired a team of “world-class photographers to shoot her in my couture gowns at a world-class location in Dubai just to give her extra publicity mileage and create for her a balance of glam and luxury as opposed to her humble homecoming in Africa. And everything was paid for by me.”
Third, Michael Cinco mentioned that the other beauty queens who wore his gowns gave their thanks but not Miss Canada’s team. He said, “YOU ALL ARE UNGRATEFUL, VILE and professional USERS.”
