RECOVERED COVID-19 PATIENTS – Several patients of coronavirus in Hong Kong who has already recovered still suffer three (3) months after.

Most countries across the globe are still battling against the COVID-19 pandemic which was already seen by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a long-term battle. Over 200 countries and territories across the globe recorded cases of the said disease.

WHO was alarmed by the rapid spread of COVID-19 across nations. Reportedly, it was first recorded in China, specifically in the city of Wuhan. WHO researchers flew to the first epicenter of the disease to investigate it.

COVID-19 got flu-like symptoms but it is fatal. A patient may experience fever, body pains, and cold. However, a person positive for this coronavirus disease may also show no symptoms at all – the asymptomatic case.

One of the countries that recorded cases of COVID-19 is Hong Kong. Unfortunately, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, recovered COVID-19 patients in Hong Kong still suffer even after three (3) months since they were discharged from the hospitals.

According to the report, the said recovered COVID-19 patients in Hong Kong who still suffer experience abnormal lung functions like shortness of breath as to the data from a public hospital. Out of the 167 patients who was treated at Princess Margaret Hospital and recovered, about 46% still have abnormal levels of oxygen.

For those who are recovered for nine months already, their lung function remained at a poor rate – 16.7%. Currently, the country is still recording new cases of coronavirus and is on a tough fight like several nations across the globe.

WHO previously told nations not to let their guards down early to prevent another wave of COVID-19. New variants of the disease were detected in several countries.
