Miss Universe PH 2020 Rabiya Mateo Featured in Iloilo Resort Sand Art
RABIYA MATEO – The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 was featured by a beach resort in Iloilo City which is her hometown.
Today is one of the most-awaited days of a lot of people as another Miss Universe pageant will be held. The event will gather once again beautiful and intelligent ladies from different countries who will represent their nation in the international stage.
Truths be told that many people’s daily routine are really put on a pause whenever the Miss Universe is held. Most citizens of a country is rooting for their candidate to bring home the crown.
For this year’s Miss Universe 2020 which is the 69th edition of the battle of wit and beauty, PH will be represented by Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, 24-years-old from Iloilo City.
Rabiya left a lot of people jaw-dropped with her excellent performance in the preliminaries. Not only her beauty and wit but as well as the way she carries herself on stage and the will to raise the flag of the Philippines in front of the globe makes Filipinos love her even more.
In the national costume category, many were impressed as Rabiya carried the Philippine flag-inspired gown despite all the challenges. She had to make urgent cuts on it that she even cut her own finger accidentally. The gown and the heels were so heavy.
Rabiya Mateo was born to a Filipino mother and an Indian-American. Her parents separated and it is no secret to the public that she grew up in a simple life. She took Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Iloilo Doctors’ College and currently works in a review center as a lecturer.
Iloilo City is one of those who are most proud of Rabiya Mateo. In fact, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a beach resort in the city featured the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 in a sand art. The said resort is Fredman Beach Resort.
