After 34 years, Ruffa Gutierrez shared that she’s back in doing this.
RUFFA GUTIERREZ – Actress and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez shared that after over three decades, she’s now back to schooling.
Education is essential for the growth and development of a person to shape a better society to live by knowing the rights, laws, and regulations. Through this, a person can acquire new skills, refine speech, land at better jobs, and ultimately help seek success in life. And with the importance that education holds, actress and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez decided to return to study.
In an Instagram update, Ruffa shared that after 34 years, she decided to study again through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). She is taking up Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Communication Arts at The Philippine Women’s University.
She wrote in her post, “After 34 years of working in the entertainment industry, I have chosen to further my education. Not only do I want to fulfill a long-held dream and take control of the next chapter of my life, I want to set a good example for my children.”
In the comment section, fans and fellow celebrities expressed their support for Ruffa. Among them are her two brothers, twins Richard and Raymond Gutierrez who both expressed of being proud of her. Actresses such as Sunshine Cruz and Charlene Gonzales reached out their support and happiness for her decision to do it.
To recall, Ruffa was hailed Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and Second Runner-up to Miss World 1993. She began acting when she was just a teenager. She is the daughter of actor Eddie Gutierrez and talent manager Annabelle Rama.
