What’s the real score between Ruffa Gutierrez and Herbert Bautista?
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez reacted to the rumors linking her and actor Herbert Bautista, who she recently worked with in the KathNiel series The House Arrest Of Us.
In an interview last year, Herbert revealed that he courted Ruffa when she was just 13 years old. Apparently, this was the start of rumors about them as they were together also in a project.
Based on the article in PEP, the actress who is a former beauty queen said that she considers the former Quezon City Mayor as her “mentor”.
“Bakit ba kami natsitsismis? Nakakaloka!” Ruffa Gutierrez exclaimed. She said that perhaps people liked their unexpected team-up in the series of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
“Kasi siyempre, parang… andaming nagme-message sa akin na mga fans, naku-cute-an sila sa amin. Kasi, parang… ‘Ay, ang cute! Pwede pala! Height doesn’t matter!’ Kaya tuloy iyong mga may crush sa akin, ‘tapos medyo maliit sa akin, biglang nagkaroon ng pag-asa. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!” the actress enthused.
She added that because of this, their onscreen tandem turned out well as it was unexpected because many people know that she likes “tall, dark, and handsome” kind of guys.
Then, Ruffa Gutierrez recalled the past projects that she did with Herbert Bautista and now they are seemed reconnected because of The House Arrest of Us. She also said that they will going to have projects in the future.
“So, sana, matuluy-tuloy iyon for Season 2. And meron din kaming ibang projects together. Hopefully, matuloy ‘yon,” she shared.
Admittedly, Ruffa said that she is learning a lot from Herbert and she even calls him sometime “Professor Bautista”.
Previously, the actress has spoken about her breakup with Jordan Mouyal. Their relationship lasted for six years.
