Eddie Gutierrez shared his simple request amid the pandemic
Veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez has this “pakiusap” to the government amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eddie is one of the pillars of the entertainment industry in the Philippines. He was able to pass to her kids and grandkids the love of performing in front of the camera.
The Gutierrez family is now considered as one of the prominent showbiz clans on the country. However, amid the lockdown, Eddie also has to stop doing showbiz projects.
Based on the article by Abante columnist Jun Lalin, the veteran actor expressed that he misses working in front of the camera. He has been doing this job for more than 60 years now.
Because of this, he has one request to the government and it is to allow senior citizens like him to still continue doing their showbiz projects. After the lockdown was implemented, the seasoned citizens were no longer allowed to go out of their home.
Prior to the pandemic, Eddie Gutierrez was part of the Kapamilya series Make It With You featuring the tandem of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. The veteran actor shared that he really missed his teleserye co-stars. This is the reason why he is asking the government to give senior citizens the consideration to go back to work.
Meanwhile, Jun Lalin shared that the veteran actor was able to maintain his fit figure even amid the pandemic. He revealed that he swims everyday to stay fit. Aside from this, he also has his exercise routine.
Eddie Garcia also shared that his wife Annabelle Rama felt happy about the lockdown because this became a way that they spend time together every day.
