PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (May 11)
The state weather bureau PAGASA said that Luzon would experience a fair weather condition while the ITCZ would bring rainy condition over Visayas and Mindanao.
On Tuesday (May 11, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that the Luzon would experience a fair weather condition but localized thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon or evening.
The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring cloudy weather condition over entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands. Mindanao would also experience similar weather condition.
PAGASA also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during heavy rains in areas affected by the ITCZ.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Northern Luzon, Aurora Province, Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Occidental Mindoro and Mindanao as well as the remaining parts of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
