The pandemic has definitely spared no one and that included the superstar. Financially, the pandemic has accordingly made greater impacts compared to the ABS-CBN shutdown. As per Vice, the closedown of his network did not so much because he still has his program still airing and another program he will be hosting is also happening.

But with the pandemic, he lost a lot. He lost the chance and opportunity to do a concert tour where he can earn much, he doesn’t have any rakets anymore, doing corporate shows, and having movies. The comedian said, “…Yon ang mga nawala sa akin, so malaki-laki din yon.”

But amid all of those circumstances, he remained grateful for he was given a lot of time in the past years to work harder and save more than enough for himself and for the people around when it happened. He added, “Nabawasan lang yung kita dahil nawalan ng raket pero maayos pa rin naman ang kalagayan ko financially.”

And in his own perspective, setting aside the negativity and focusing on things that create something beautiful is what matters most. It’s about seeing the beauty and taking in what strengthens you and seeing the value of everything around you.

He also had some changes when it comes to performing such as having no audience. But this did not stop him from making people happy. In order to continue and survive, he quipped based on PUSH, “Adapt lang tayo nang adapt.”
