Kadamay Group Breakaway Leader Jeffrey Aris Gunned Down in Angeles City

Kadamay Group Breakaway Leader named Jeffrey Aris has already passed away after he was shot dead in Angeles City.

On Friday (May 7, 2021), Jeffrey Aris, the 37-year-old breakaway leader of the popular militant Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (Kadamay) has been gunned down in Purok 5, Barangay  Anunas before 5:00 am.

Aris has been rushed to the Angeles University Foundation Medical Center for immediate treatment and medication but the health personnel failed to save him and was declared dead on arrival.

Capt. Joven Rodriguez, Angeles City chief of police reported that Jeffrey lead a team consisting of 60 members from Pandi. They were hired to construct a fence at a disputed property.

The victim led a group of former Kadamay members who departed from the militant group after occupying the government housing project in Pandi, Bulacan last 2017 but eventually leave the units after cops take over the building.

Rodriguez described the group of Aris as a “pro-government.” The late group leader also raised cash to help his constituents during the coronavirus pandemic.
