Lolit Solis talked about the relationship that Ricky Lo and Kris Aquino had
Veteran entertainment columnist Lolit Solis made revelations about the late Ricky Lo and actress Kris Aquino in her recent writeup.
Manay Lolit is one of the personalities in the entertainment industry who mourned the death of Ricky. At the age of 75 and after 50 years of working in show business as a writer, editor, and TV host, Ricky has finally bid goodbye.
Many of his closest friends in the industry expressed grief like actress-radio host Ali Sotto who shared her last message for the veteran columnist and Rated Korina host Korina Sanchez who shared the fondest memory she had with the deceased.
In the recent Instagram post of Lolit Solis, she shared that there were also those who are mourning in private, just like Kris Aquino. She said that Ricky has a soft spot when it comes to Kris.
“Hindi niya malimutan na si Kris ang nag recite ng rosary sa wake ng mother niya. Kaya kahit anong issue nuon kay Kris, mas lamang na nasa side niya si Ricky,” Manay Lolit revealed. She also disclosed that Ricky and Kris had a “tampuhan” and they haven’t communicated with each other for a long time.
“Pero may isang okasyon nuon na nagpadala ng mga regalo si Kris sa ilang kaibigan, at pinadalhan niya si Ricky,” the columnist-talent manager revealed. Manay Lolit said that she and Ricky had a long talk about that gesture of Kris.
“Happy siya sa gesture ni Kris, kasi nga sabi niya, forever sa memory niya iyon pag recite nito ng rosary sa wake ng mother niya,” she related. However, Manay Lolit said that she is wondering why the gap between Kris and Ricky has not been patched up.
Following the death of Ricky Lo, Lolit Solis said that Alvin, one of people who works for Kris Aquino, asked if how they can reach out to the family of the late columnist.
“Now I am sure, na talagang love niya si Kris at siguro wherever he is now, masaya siya dahil ito na naman si Kris reaching out her hands to him,” Manay Lolit said.
