Marian Rivera had this memorable teleserye scene
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera recalled the “kabaong” scene that she did for the remake of the teleserye Endless Love.
The said series was an adaptation of the hit Korean drama series with the same title. Marian was paired with Primetime Kapuso King Dingdong Dantes and it was a memorable project for the actress.
In a recent interview on GMA Pinoy TV FunCon, Marian was asked about her most memorable scene in the said series. She shared that it was the time when she had to be placed inside the coffin because her character died.
“Parang ang dami kong luhang naiiyak d’yan at hindi ko makakalimutan ‘yan kasi kung ‘di ako nagkakamali, ito ‘yung first time ko pumayag sa isang soap opera na ilagay sa kabaong kasi namatay ako d’yan,” Marian Rivera said.
She added that in the Marimar series, which was based on the Spanish series of Thalia, she was just placed inside a wooden box but in Endless Love, it was a real coffin.
Her husband attested to the effort that she did for the said series. “Heavy drama ‘to lalo na kay Marian na ang tindi ng requirement lalo na sa acting kaya nakita ko talaga ‘yung effort n’ya dito,” Dingdong recalled.
Meanwhile, the couple is happy that their series along with other Pinoy remakes of Korean dramas are having re-runs. “Excited ako sa Endless Love kasi ‘yung mga ganyang re-run talagang na-i-imagine mo sa mga Korean drama ‘yung story na ‘yun na in-adapt natin,” the actor-director said.
The husband of Marian Rivera also said that is kind of story is timeless and it is very refreshing to watch it again.
