RICKY LO DEATH – Veteran columnist Ricky Lo died at the age of 75 and here’s the saddened reaction of Lolit Solis to this.
One of the most popular in the journalism field is the veteran journalist Ricky Lo who just died at the age of 75. He’s in this field for 50 years and has maintained a reputation for being one of the most respected writers. Through the years, he also had his fair share of controversies.
He died the night of May 4 and his sister Susan Lee extended their family’s plea to respect their brother’s death and give them the privacy they needed. And now, grieving with everyone, as well, is the veteran showbiz journalist Lolit Solis who was saddened over Lo’s passing.
On Instagram, Lolit compared the pain of losing him when she also lost Douglas Quijano and Bibsy Carballo. The death of a dear friend to her is “so painful” and recalling some fragments of memories when he was still alive, she recollected that moment when she was facing her scam controversy.
“Hindi ko malimutan noong scam na umiiyak siya habang pinapangaralan ako, umiiyak siya dahil baka maapektuhan ng kahihiyan sa ginawa kong scam ang mga anak ko,” she shared. It seems to her that he was really affected by what has happened and since then, such an incident marked her. She has seen right at that moment how kind-hearted and sincere he is as a friend to her.
Mourning with the passing of someone dear, Manay sadly expressed in her post, “A part of me died today, a part of my heart is broken. One of my best friend, guardian, angel left without saying goodbye.”
She also shared that Ricky did not suffer before dying as the turn of events happened so fast. He got weakened over high sugar levels and despite his condition, they were still able to talk over the phone, and Tuesday night, he took his last breath. She believed he was at peace and ready when he left.
