MAJA SALVADOR – Former Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador revealed that she didn’t accept the role opposite to Gerald Anderson’s in “Init Sa Magdamag”.

“Init Sa Magdamag” is one of the newest series from ABS-CBN aired on various platforms available for the network. The television series stars celebrities Gerald Anderson, Yam Concepcion, and JM De Guzman. And as much as many people are aware, the three lead stars have been so fierce in doing several love scenes for the series.

And these intimate scenes that must be done are among the reasons why former Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador, who is now in TV5, has rejected the role opposite to the role of Anderson. She wanted to avoid doing those steamy scenes with her ex-boyfriend. In a featured interview with Mega Entertainment, she wanted her relationship with businessman Rambo Nunez to work this time. This is their second shot at love already.

In the interview, she shared that if such a role was offered to her before, she would definitely accept it. However, taking a new approach in handling her relationship now with a non-showbiz guy, she became more considerate of his feelings if she did it. She would have chosen her career over love before but now that she’s already at the peak of her success as an actress, she now chooses love.

She is now more willing to compromise and to undergo some adjustments for her partner who is not in the same industry as hers. She confessed, “And then, nung nagkabalikan kami ni Rambo, meron akong moment na gusto ko mag-work to. Baka kaya hindi nag-wo-work kasi wala akong pakialam. Kasi sarili ko lang iniintindi ko parang hindi ko pinapahalagahan yung nararamdaman ng partner ko. So yun yung nag-start na kinausap ko yung mga bossing.”

The actress now knows better what to prioritize. She wanted her relationship this time to work. One difference in her relationship now with the businessman compared to the previous ones she had is the age difference. With Anderson and Matteo Guidicelli, she’s the one who is older while Rambo is the one who is now older. Explaining why it works this way for her, she said, “So yeah, parang si Rambo yung pinaka matanda, tapos surrounded pa kami ng pamilya namin.”
