Sunshine Dizon transfers to ABS-CBN
Former Kapuso actress Sunshine Dizon is now officially a Kapamilya and she is set to do a new TV series on ABS-CBN.
Sunshine has been under the management of GMA for a long time and did several hit series. For 25 years, she was a Kapuso and was considered as one of the A-list actress of the network.
However, these past few days, rumors surfaced that she is about to be a Kapamilya and it has been announced on Friday, April 30, that the speculations were true.
She will be part of the new series titled Marry Me, Marry You. In a recently released video teaser for this upcoming project, Sunshine Dizon appeared along with other stars such as Janine Gutierrez, Cherry Pie Picache, Vina Morales, Edu Manzano, and Paolo Avelino, based on the Twitter post of ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe.
On the official Twitter account of Dreamscape Entertainment, an art card was posted featuring the photo of Sunshine and her short statement being the newest Kapamilya. “Maraming salamat Kapamilya! Excited na ako para sa bagong project,” she said.
Meanwhile, these past few days, Sunshine Dizon was not the only star from GMA that has been rumored to do a network switch. It is also being speculated that Lovi Poe will soon be a Kapamilya, however, reportedly, the daughter of the late Fernando Poe, Jr., is still negotiating with the GMA-7.
Last year, Janine Gutierrez, who was one of the A-list actresses of the Kapuso network also transferred to ABS-CBN after her contract with GMA-7 ended.
