This is what Sunshine Dizon said about the lesson she learned from her series ‘Magkaagaw’
Kapuso star Sunshine Dizon has this meaningful remark about “kabit” during a recent virtual press conference for her series Magkaagaw.
In the said afternoon teleserye, she is portraying the character of Laura Ramirez-Santos who stole the husband of Veron Santos, played by Sheryl Cruz.
Sunshine said through the series she learned the importance of fighting for one’s family as long as the person can do this. Then, she added that the wife should not let the mistress win, based on the article in PEP.
“At ‘wag magpapatalo sa mga kabit,” Sunshine Dizon said that garnered comment from her co-star Dion Ignacio. “Ayun!” the actor said while laughing.
The actress also laughed and said, “Bakit ka tumatawa? Totoo naman, di ba? Hindi ka pwedeng magpatalo sa kanila kasi matutuwa sila.”
This answer of Sunshine was meaningful because she went through a similar situation. The Kapuso star filed two cases against her husband Timothy Tan – Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) o R.A. 9262 at concubinage.

Allegedly, Timothy had a “mistress”. However, the actress has withdrawn the cases against her estranged husband. On the other hand, she chose to pursue the case against the alleged “other woman”.
In 2018, Sunshine shared in her social media post that she and Timothy are working out the conflict between them but in August of 2019, she said that their relationship was complicated.
Sunshine Dizon shared that they are civil to each other for the sake of their children.
