The 36-year-old celebrity now has millions of followers on her Youtube Channel and Instagram. She’s fond of luxury brands like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel. She grew up in a wealthy family but she’s not a spoiled rich kid.
Heart Evangelista’s dad Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco is the owner of the Barrio Fiesta Group of restaurants in the Philippines while the family of her mom Cecilia Ongpauco owns a sugar cane plantation in Camarines Sur.
During her wedding with Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero back in 2015, Heart walk down the aisle without the presence of her father. It was said that the businessman opposed her marriage to the politician.

In her recent Youtube vlog, Heart Evangelista asked her dad Reynaldo Ongpauco why he did not attend her wedding. Her dad said, “Hindi ko naman siya [Chiz Escudero] naging kaaway.”
Reynaldo also admitted that he felt regret that he did not immediately reconcile with Heart’s husband. “Sayang, naging bati na sana kami noon pa,” he said.
Meanwhile, in one part of Heart Evangelista’s Youtube vlog, she showed the good relationship now between his father and husband. She said, “If you did everything right, and you pray a lot, time heals everything.”
