BTS Announced as Newest Ambassadors For Louis Vuitton
LOUIS VUITTON – South Korean boy band BTS was announced as the new ambassadors of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
The group is behind the record-breaking hits ‘Dynamite,’ ‘Black Swan,’ ‘Boy With Luv,’ and ‘MIC Drop.’ They became household names among K-pop fans. They even got celebrity fans like Liza Soberano, Ruru Madrid, Shawn Mendez, and Charlie Puth.
Last week, fast-food giant McDonald’s announced that they will be releasing a meal in collaboration with the K-pop group. In a previous article, the online community immediately shared funny memes of its rival Jollibee looking sad. Starting June 18, we will be able to try BTS’ “signature order” at participating branches nationwide.
On Friday, April 24, luxury brand Louis Vuitton announced on their social media channels that they have tapped BTS as their new ambassadors. They shared a photo of the iconic group wearing pastel-colored Louis Vuitton suits similar to their ‘Dynamite’ outfits.
“#BTS for #LouisVuitton. Joining as new House Ambassadors, the world renowned Pop Icons @bts_bighit are recognized for their uplifting messages that impart a positive influence. Louis Vuitton is pleased to welcome members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.”
The K-pop group also shared their eagerness towards their collaboration with the luxury brand. They said “Becoming global brand ambassadors for LV is a truly exciting moment for us. We are excited for our upcoming projects with Virgil Abloh.”
