Nurse Arrested in a Buy-Bust Operation in Cagayan Over Selling Illegal Drugs
The anti-drug agency arrested a nurse allegedly selling illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation conducted in Brgy. Bulala Camalaniugan, Cagayan.
A nurse was arrested after being caught in a drug buy-bust operation, according to PMaj. Reymond-I Asistores, president of PNP Camalanuigan. Richard Frances Valencia, 42, of Barangay Dacalla-Fugu, Camalaniugan, Cagayan, was named as the suspect.

Valencia is on the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 2’s High-Value Target or HVT list. Valencia was apprehended in the said police operation at 8:00 p.m. last night.
Valencia yielded a package of suspected illegal drugs called “shabu” and two pieces of genuine five hundred pesos marked money, which was witnessed by two barangay officials and a REMATE reporter.
According to REMATE’s exclusive interview with PMaj. Assistants, in addition to being a health worker or nurse, Valencia also sidelined the suspect as a masseuse and pushing illegal drugs.
PCol. Ariel Quilang, Provincial Director of the Cagayan Police Provincial Office (CPPO) lauded the successful tough campaign against illegal drugs headed by PMaj. Assistores. Valencia is facing charges for breaking R.A. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
