Dramatic actress Sunshine Cruz reveals battle versus coronavirus and she’s now fully recovered.
SUNSHINE CRUZ – “Tested NEGATIVE but feeling positive,” says Sunshine Cruz in the latest update after she contracted the highly dangerous COVID-19.
Singer-actress Sunshine Cruz is now COVID-19 free. The Bagong Umaga star has fully recovered finally after 22 days of battling the coronavirus disease. There have been a lot of celebrities who got infected by the virus and among whom is Cruz. As much as we are all aware, the nature of their work, no matter how careful they do to protect themselves, puts them at a higher risk to contract the virus as they get exposed to different people.
In her revelation post, she shared that she tested positive last March 27. It didn’t boil down to her immediately that she had the virus. She went through the denial stage. She isolated herself showing symptoms with “different kinds of strong antibiotics and medicines” beside her. The usual 14-day isolation didn’t work on her case. On her 20th day, she still has the symptoms and was advised not to go out unless those symptoms go away.
And just recently, after 22 days of battle versus the virus, she finally got fully recovered. She “Tested NEGATIVE but feeling positive” after surpassing such a tough phase with the dangerous disease.
On her journey to recovery, she shared that she had symptoms like headache, body pain, cough, and loss of sense of taste and sense of smell. Experiencing these first hand, she shared, “In my 43 years of existence, I’ve had fever, the flu, and coughs but Covid symptoms can’t be compared to what I’ve experienced before. I am still grateful and blessed that the worst is over.”
Meanwhile, her Bagong Umaga co-star Heaven Peralejo, in a vlog posted on Saturday, April 10, also revealed that she has the coronavirus disease. She was required hospital care and her COVID-19 ordeal was accordingly the “toughest challenge” for her, so far.
