Celebrities react to MECQ in Metro Manila and other provinces in the country.

MECQ IN METRO MANILA – These famous celebrities reacted when ECQ was lifted in these areas and were put under MECQ amid increasing cases.

To a more relaxed quarantine status starting April 12, areas such as Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal are now under the modified enhanced community quarantine until April 30. This is after they were put under the tightest restrictions for two weeks because of the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in the country.

The provinces of Quirino and Abra and Santiago City in Isabela are also under MECQ until the end of April. Areas under GCQ until the end of the month are the following, while the rest of the country in MGCQ:

  • Cordillera Administrative Region
  • Cagayan
  • Isabela
  • Nueva Vizcaya
  • Batangas
  • Quezon
  • Tacloban City
  • Iligan City
  • Davao City
  • Lanao del Sur
