Here’s what John Estrada said about Derek Ramsay
Actor John Estrada revealed that his friend Derek Ramsay liked Ellen Adarna even before the couple had the chance to spend time together.
The romance bloomed between Derek and Ellen during a dinner party and their cozy photos were uploaded on social media. From that, more sweet photos surfaced until Derek admitted that their relationship was on its first monthsary.
A month after they confirmed their relationship, the proposal happened which created a loud buzz on social media. It is quite unusual for celebrity couples to have a whirlwind romance and in this case, everything happened in a span of two months.
In a previous interview, Derek has already expressed that he thinks Ellen is the one. He stressed the strong connection between them which he did not experience in his previous relationships.
Ellen is also expressive of her feelings towards her boyfriend. In a previous article, the Cebuana actress said that she never thought of settling down before but this changed now that she is with Derek.
She even revealed that within just months of being together as a couple, the actor has already asked her several times about getting married. So, during the proposal, a part of the actress anticipated that one day that would happen, and that was the time.
In line with the proposal of Derek Ramsay, entertainment columnist Dolly Ann Carvajal asked their common friend John Estrada about it. The Kapuso actor said that his friend initially planned to propose on April 2, the exact birthday of Ellen.
“But ‘di na siguro makapaghintay because he’s sobrang in love. Dati pa naman n’ya type si Ellen at nagustuhan n’ya talaga ang ugali. And he’s amazed at how hands-on she is as a mom to Elias,” John shared.
He added that seeing this trait of Ellen made Derek realize that the actress will really take care of their future kids. “Even if they’ve been together for a few months pa lang, Derek is 100 percent sure that he wants to start spending forever with Ellen, ASAP,” John Estrada revealed.
