Domestic Helper Stepped On Baby Following Vomiting Incident
DOMESTIC HELPER STEPPED ON BABY – A heart-wrenching scene transpired in Singapore as a domestic helper stepped on a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
Reports stated that the 42-year-old domestic helper was stressed due to family issues. Following this, she took it out on her employer’s child. She was captured in the CCTV cameras giving authorities strong evidence against her.
According to an article from ABS-CBN, the domestic helper was known as Suliana Kasim Dapok, an Indonesian who had three children of her own. However, because of her actions, she has been sentenced to nine months in jail. Furthermore, she pleaded guilty to charges of ill-treating a child protected under the Children and Young Persons Act.
On the day of the incident, Juliana had just finished cleaning the carpet when the boy walked towards her. Afterward, the boy came close to the detergent she was using to clean the carpet.
Then, not wanting the boy to come close to it, she elbowed him in the face causing him to fall to the floor and cry. Next, she wiped the carpet and walked to the kitchen frustrated that she had to clean up again after the child. Anticipating that the child might grab her leg as she was walking, she stepped on his right knee leaving the boy crying.
But, she wasn’t done. Juliana went to the living room to fold laundry on the sofa. At this point, Juliana signaled the boy to come toward her. She then pushed the child causing him to fall down on the floor. As she got up to put-away the laundry, she stepped on the poor child’s right leg.
