PAGASA: LPA to Bring Rains in Mindanao, Warm Weather Expected Nationwide

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (March 30)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area would bring rains over Mindanao and warm weather is expected over some parts of the country.

On Tuesday (March 30, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The LPA and easterlies would affect the country’s weather condition.

The Trough of a Low Pressure Area would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the region in Mindanao. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains are expected.

The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are expected over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring the same weather conditions over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would be slight to moderate.
