PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (March 27)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring cloudy skies and isolated rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (March 27, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The easterlies would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands.

Mindanao is also expected to experience the same weather condition due to the easterlies.

The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The surrounding sea conditions over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would be slight to moderate.
