ANGELINE QUINTO – One of ABS-CBN’s top singing artists Angeline Quinto expressed firm loyalty to her home network and vowed to never leave.
When the ABS-CBN network faced a crisis last year and eventually lost its chance to have a fresh franchise, several of its artists transferred to other networks. Aside from that, they also had a massive retrenchment where most of their employees lost their jobs from their various regional companies.
Months after having not to have a franchise and with production shoots underwent huge changes under the new normal, ABS-CBN continues to air and serve the people despite the limp. They’ve had several digital channels where people can find them online and have made block time deals with another network such as the TV5 to air some of their shows.
With a new franchise still far from sight, will Angeline Quinto also leave the network just like the other artists? To recall, the singer we all love now is a product of the reality singing competition called Star Power where she came out as the grand winner. Aside from singing, the network also saw her potential in acting, thus, she was honed to improve her talent in singing and acting.
And times like this for her network is the time they have to remain solid and stand up for it just like what the network did to her before. This is her way to show how much she treasures the network that also treasured her in the past 10 years. She just celebrated her 10th year in the industry.
Firm on her stand to stay loyal to her home network, she said, “Kaya ngayon na solid Kapamilya pa rin ako, e, talagang ako naman iyong nag-decide nito. Walang pumilit sa akin na dapat nandito pa rin ako. Ako iyong may gusto noon, buong-buo. Sabi ko nga sa kanila, may pagkakataon naman na may nagtanong sa akin kung bakit hindi ako lumipat sa ibang network.”
“Ang tanging sagot ko lang sa kanila, patuloy naman akong binibigyan ng trabaho sa ABS-CBN, sa Kapamilya Channel,” she added as per PEP.
