Columnist questioned the loyalty of Vice Ganda to ABS-CBN
A columnist scrutinized comedian-host Vice Ganda for expressing his loyalty to his home network ABS-CBN after the release of the Christmas station ID of the media giant.
On December 1, Vice shared this emotional post after the Liwanag At Ligaya video was aired. He said that he saw the hardships that ABS-CBN encountered this year but he promised to be with his home network until the time for “pagbangon” will come.
This post of the Unkabogable Star garnered admiration from the avid supporters of the Kapamilya network. However, this was criticized by an entertainment columnist.
Hataw columnist Pete Ampoloquio Jr. stated in his December 4 article that even big stars like Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will have a hard time in bringing back their home network. He also mentioned that even Vice Ganda’s effort can’t make the ratings of It’s Showtime go up.

Then, Ampoloquio scrutinized the comedian-host after he showed his loyalty to ABS-CBN. “Ni minsan raw ay hindi naisipan ng baklang ilusyonada na lumipat sa ibang network kahit wala na itong prankisa,” the columnist said.
He also mentioned that Vice allegedly sent “fillers” to TV5 because he already wanted to transfer to the Kapatid network. Then, the columnist said, “Ang kaso, hindi nila kinagat ang presyo mong P3 milyon. Hahahahahahahaha!”
To recall, last July, allegations surfaced that TV5 refused to accept Vice Ganda because of the said amount he is demanding from the network. However, the comedian-host denied this allegation against him.
