A lawyer shared this poem for Bea Alonzo
Actress Bea Alonzo has been receiving love and support from her fans after the “overdue” confirmation of Gerald Anderson of his relationship with Julia Barretto and one of those fans is election lawyer Romy Macalintal.
The lawyer and his wife Mila have been fans of the drama actress. Amid the resurfacing of the Bea-Gerald-Julia issue, the Macalintal couple shared their thoughts for the actress they admire.
Philstar’s entertainment columnist Ricky Lo shared that Atty. Macalintal wrote a letter to his Funfare column. The lawyer shared a line from the song The Four Aces that was used in the 1950s movie The Eddy Duchin Story.
This was the line of the song: “Don’t live in the past, dear/For you and me, the die is cast, dear/But if love won’t last, dear/We have the right to love again…”
Atty Macalintal said that the “the die is cast” means that the decision has been made and there’s nothing to do to change it. “Those romantic lyrics aptly describe what we want to tell Ms. Bea Alonzo: You have the right to love again. And to love the right and perfect man for you,” the lawyer explained.
He also shared that he and his wife admire how Bea Alonzo portrayed her character Andeng in the series A Love to Last with Ian Veneracion. The story of the series revolves around Andeng who lost her first love but was able to find a more deserving man Anton Noble (Veneracion).
The lawyer admitted also that he and his wife still watch the romantic episodes on Netflix and he is hoping that like Andeng, Bea would also find the man of her life.
Aside from these wonderful words that Bea Alonzo received from Atty. Macalintal and his wife, they also shared this prayerful poem for her, written by James J. Metcalfe
Believe in God
There will be times when you are sad, and know not what to do
And when you tell yourself there is, no thought to comfort you.
