Senator Gordon Slams LTO: “Inestafa ng LTO ang taumbayan”
Senator Gordon lambasted the Land Transportation Office over delayed plate numbers and stressed out “Inestafa ng LTO ang taumbayan”.
The Facebook page of “Dick Gordon” has expressed the disappointment of the lawmaker against the Land Transportation Office including its current and former officials for allegedly defrauding the Filipino people.
Gordon said that the agency allegedly defraud the Filipinos with P3.8 billion worth of vehicle license plates. He lambasted the agency’s officials for allegedly collecting fees but failing to receive license plates.
The 75-year-old lawmaker also lambasted the agency over delayed releasing of license plates and accused LTO of swindling.
The senator explained that the shortage of license plate’s supply contributes to the increasing number of crimes committed by motorcycle-riding criminals. He also said that LTO officials were liable for delaying the issuance of new vehicle plates.

“NAGBAYAD PERO WALANG BINIGAY NA PLAKA. Paulit-ulit na nagbayad ang tao, ilang ulit na nagpalit ng kulay at disenyo, ilang administrasyon na rin ang nagdaan PERO WALA PA RIN ANG PLAKA ng mga motorcycle owners. INESTAFA ng LTO ang taumbayan.
Iyan ang dahilan kaya hindi natin tinitigilan ang pangangalampag sa LTO at sa kabagalan ng kanilang sistema! Wakasan na natin ang pananamantala sa taumbayan na ang tanging nais lang ay umasenso ang kanilang buhay!”
