Teacher Arrested After He Hides for 2 Years After Abusing a Male Student
Police arrested a teacher who has been hiding for over 2 years for allegedly abusing and harassing his minor male student in 2018.
After two years of hiding, the teacher was found and arrested for allegedly abusing his minor male students in 2018. According to the report, personnel of the Philippine National Police-crime Investigation Group-Bulacan arrested 28-year-old Marvin Apostol.
Apostol faces 13 counts of r*pe and 7 counts of acts of lasciviousness. According to the grievances of the parents of the victims, the suspect allegedly summoned the students to his house to teach and give high marks.

After the case was filed, the school fired Apostol and since then he has been hiding from the authorities. Meanwhile, the suspect begged his parents to forgive him and acquit him in the future case.
“Humihingi po ako ng paumanhin sa mga nagawa ko pong pagkakamali at sana po ay mapatawad niyo po ako. Pinagsisihan ko po yung mga nagawa ko,” Apostol pleads.
Meanwhile, a woman was harassed by a man she considered as a friend at their friendship’s reunion. The woman did not think that attending the reunion of friends she considered her second family would lead to her harassment.
The suspect admitted that he has developed feelings for the victim for a long time. However, the suspect added said the victim had always and was the first to kiss him.
