This is the reason that Gary Valenciano said for renewing his contract with ABS-CBN
Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano revealed the reason why he chose to still be a Kapamilya despite ABS-CBN’s franchise was denied.
Gary has been under the management of the Kapamilya network for 18 years now. Just recently, he along with other stars of the TV giant renewed their contract and the event was dubbed “Kapamilya Strong”.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, the OPM icon was asked why he remained loyal to his home network. He answered that he is like this to those people who allow him to “expand” his wings and soar. Gary said that ABS-CBN has done this.
“They’ve also allowed me to reach so many more people with my involvement with, of course, ‘ASAP,’ ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar,’ ‘X-Factor,’ ‘World of Dance,’ ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan,’” he added.
He also said that he is thankful that through this, he is able to reach more people. Gary Valenciano said that it is one big reason why he stayed loyal. Aside from this, he feels the support from his home network.
Moreover, he shared that he likes the way how the TV giant communicates with him regarding his idea.
“Nagpapasalamat ako dahil naniniwala sila hanggang ngayon sa akin. You know, I’m not as young as I was and yet they are still there to support me. And because of them, I still have many who continue to support me,” Mr. Pure Energy said.
Gary Valenciano also expressed positivity regarding the problem that his home network is encountering due to the denied franchise. He believes that they will rise above the storm, dance in the storm, and sing in the rain.
