HEART EVANGELISTA – Kapuso actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista answers the question if she also repeats the clothes she wears.
An accomplished actress, painter, and Youtube content creator is Heart Evangelista. But aside from her career, she is also known and loved for her fashion taste and style. Surely, the fashion industry in the Philippines has evolved through the years, and among the icons of today is the Kapuso artist.
Her style has been into Paris and beyond at fashion and couture weeks. She can definitely pull off any style whether the items of clothing are from a famous designer brand, local, or ukay-ukay. For a long time, we oftentimes see her clad elegantly in dresses, tailored suits, high heels, and some pieces for street style like jeans and simple T-shirts.
With the tons of things and pieces that she own, does she still repeat her outfits?
“Clothes aren’t like tissue you use once and throw away,” she said on Instagram over the weekend when asked by a curious follower about her stand when it comes to repeating the clothes she already wore. “For sure” she answered affirmative about doing this. She then went on to explain that being older and mature now, she realized that spending the money she makes on things that will last long, especially on luxury items, is more worthwhile.
She even shared a tip about her when shopping in high-end stores. Accordingly, she chooses a product that is of good quality and are well-made. She stressed “quality over quantity” and that buying from expensive stores doesn’t necessarily mean being materialistic but just appreciating of quality pieces that you can enjoy for a long time.
