What happened between Angeline Quinto and Vice Ganda?
Singer Angeline Quinto appeared to have this “pikunan” moment with comedian-host Vice Ganda in a recent episode of It’s Showtime.
The noontime show is one of the shows in ABS-CBN that continued airing despite the network’s franchise was denied and amid the difficulties that the pandemic brought to the entertainment industry.
It’s Showtime continues to provide laughter and entertainment for its avid viewers for more than a decade now. It has also continued its tradition of giving opportunities to those who aspire to achieve their dreams through singing.
The segment of the show, Tawag ng Tanghalan, is still finding superb talents. For this season, Angeline Quinto is one of the “hurados” or judges. In a recent episode of the noontime show, based on the article in Abante Entertainment, there was a “pikunan” moment.
It was said that Vice Ganda laughed at the female singer because of how she gave her comments on TNT contestants’ performances. The Unkabogable Star said that Angeline is “taray” because of her English comments and how she said “good job” and then followed this with a sigh.
Vice jokingly said that Angeline really listed down the comments that she would make and practiced it. Reportedly, that was the point when the female singer showed that she looked pissed.
“Daot ka talaga! Uy te, minsan lang ako mag-Ingles. Pagbigyan mo na ‘ko. Nakakainis ka, parang ang perfect mo,” Angeline Quinto said.
As they are close to each other, the reply of Vice Ganda to this was, “Hindi mo na-receive yung memo? Dineclare na ng society. Perfect ako talaga.”
