Bea Alonzo recalled the bad encounter she had with a younger artist
Actress Bea Alonzo admitted the “pagtataray” that she did to a younger artist and here is the reason why she did that.
Bea, in her 20 years in the entertainment industry, has already proven her caliber when it comes to acting. She already did remarkable TV and movie roles that left a mark in the hearts and minds of showbiz enthusiasts.
In a recent interview with PEP, the actress shared that she already experienced “pagtataray” from senior co-stars and directors in the past. “Oo naman, natarayan naman na ako ng senior stars and directors. Pero very, very minimal. Masuwerte ako sa ganyan. Hindi ako masyadong nabibiktima,” Bea Alonzo shared.
She also shared that it is a good thing that the training that they had in Star Magic helped her a lot. They were trained to be respectful and always greet senior artists in whatever project they do.
“Pero kasi siyempre, ang training sa amin talagang ano, nung panahon namin, kahit hindi ka i-hi, or kahit ayaw ka pansinin ng mas senior sa ‘yo, ikaw yung magbibigay ng courtesy kahit pa feeling mo, hiyang-hiya ka, talagang lunukin mo yung hiya mo,” the actress said.
When asked if there was a time that she made “pagtataray” against a younger artist now she is considered as one of the prominent actresses in this generation, Bea recalled one instance.
She said that the younger artist was just busy on the cellphone to the point of forgetting the lines. “Mag-i-start na kami, nagsi-cellphone. ‘Tapos sabi ko, tawagin na lang ako pag ready na kasi nagsi-cellphone siya buong time, ‘tapos hindi niya alam yung line niya,” the actress shared.
Then, Bea Alonzo was asked if what happened to the career of that younger artist or if still active in showbiz, she said, “Hindi ko alam! Ayoko mag-comment baka mamaya makarma ako. Parang, oo naman. Oo naman. Pero in fairness naman, hindi na niya ginawa yun after. In fairness.”
