Lolit Solis released this writeup about Claudine Barretto
Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis slammed the statement of Optimum Star Claudine Barretto about the late actor Rico Yan.
Claudine and Rico were love team partners and their relationship in front of the camera became a real romance in real life. It is a known fact that many showbiz fans are still showing support for their past love team.
In a recent interview, Claudine expressed that she still loves Rico. She said that what she feels for her ex-boyfriend will go beyond her death. This brought “kilig” to Rico-Claudine fans.
However, this statement of the Optimum Star did not sit well with Lolit Solis. The entertainment columnist said that what the actress did was “too much”.
“Hindi ko maisip kung bakit hanggang ngayon kailangan pang isabit ang pangalan ni Rico Yan kay Claudine Barretto,” Manay Lolit said. The columnist stressed that what happened between Claudine and Rico took place a long time and that it is more appropriate to reminisce their memories in private.
“I don’t think the family of Rico Yan enjoy this kind of reminiscing about their son, parang opening of old wounds na sana ay dapat peklat na lang,” she added.
The columnist added that it is fine to remember the times that they spent together in the past but to keep on talking about Rico publicly is already “icky”.
“Ok na gawin, pero iyon pag usapan pa at parang maging conversation piece, too much na. Let us pray for Rico Yan to rest in piece, and give his family peace of mind. Love his memories, but just keep it in your heart,” Lolit Solis said.
