Atty. Topacio shares an update on Claudine Barretto-Raymart Santiago case
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto filed a case against her ex-husband actor Raymart Santiago and here is the recent update that Atty. Ferdie Topacio shared.
Claudine formally filed a complaint against Raymart regarding the lack of financial support for their children. Last year, rumors already circulated that the actress was planning to do this.
When the relationship of Raymart with Jodi Sta. Maria was revealed, speculations surfaced that the case may involve the latter.
In a previous report, Claudine Barretto revealed that she called the current girlfriend of her ex-husband and their conversation went well. However, she got dismayed when what they talked about was not followed.
The Optimum star also debunked the rumors that it was Jodi who first call her as a sign of respect. She even stressed that she did not get the respect that she deserves from the girlfriend of Raymart.
In a recent article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Abante, he wrote about the update on Claudine Barretto’s case against Raymart Santiago.
It was said that they are set to face before the Marikina City Prosecutor’s Office on the morning of February 8.
Atty. Topacio said that Claudine Barretto will be there as her shooting for her comeback movie has not started yet. The columnist also said that most probably, Raymart Santiago will also be there since the lock-in taping for Ang Probinsyano was just until January 27. They will take a break first and just resume the lock-in taping for another cycle.
Then, Lalin shared what Claudine said about Raymart’s relationship with Jodi. “Kahit hindi kami magkasundo ni Raymart, at the end of the day, I want them to be happy,” the actress said.
