Janine Gutierrez talked about her scenes with Lotlot de Leon
Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez shared the feeling that she felt while doing scenes with her mother Lotlot de Leon.
Janine had the chance to work with her mom in her new movie Dito at Doon with JC Santos. Based on the article in Bandera, in a recent media conference for the said movie, the actress said that she felt shy having scenes with Lotlot compared to her other co-stars.
Lotlot also portrayed the mother of Janine in the movie and the latter admitted that it was not easy for her. In the movie, their mother-daughter relationship is not good which is contrary to real life.
“Nag-enjoy ako working with her kasi ang relationship namin dito as mother and daughter ay hindi kami masyadong okay lagi kaming nagsasagutan which is not how we are in real life, so kapag pinagsasabihan niya ako, parang natatakot talaga ako,” Janine Gutierrez shared.
On the other hand, she said that she feels excited to see her and her mother’s dynamic in the movie as it is far different from what they are in reality.
“First time kong masungitan ang nanay ko (nagkatawanan ang lahat) kasi ang turo niya talaga sa amin is respeto, ‘wag kang sasagot pero dito in the film, si Len (karakter ni Janine) is napaka-strong ng character na minsan mas nanay pa tayo sa mga nanay natin, so doon namin napakita ‘yung ganitong relationship ng mag-ina,” the award-winning actress added.
Janine Gutierrez proudly commended the talent of her mother in front of the camera. Although she felt nervous, it was easy for her to react naturally in the scene because there was “bigayan” while they were filming.
