Ez Mil & His Management React To Call to Alter Panalo Line
EZ MIL – The Filipino-Caucasian rapper stands firm on not altering the controversial line of his rap song “Panalo” that went viral.
Recently, social media platforms were taken by storm by a rap performance on Wish USA bus. The said rap song entitled Panalo was written and sang by a Filipino-Caucasian young rapper Ez Mil.
A lot of people were impressed by how proud the rapper is to be a Filipino. He grew up in Olongapo and has received a share of tags like “tisoy” for being white but he stressed that he is “Pinoy”.
The said rap performance on Wish USA bus went viral on social media. It has gathered millions of views and continues with its phenomenal success.

However, on another side, there were also those who were hurt by a part of the lyrics of Panalo. Many people reacted to the rapper altering a fact by stating his song that Lapu-Lapu died in Mactan.
Lapu-Lapu is one of the heroes in the Philippines and many people did not like how he was presented in the song. Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Ahong Chan even wants Ez Mil to be declared as persona non grata in the city.
Mayor Chan also wants the rapper to make a public apology and to alter the controversial line of the song mentioning the hero. To this, the rapper and his management gave their say.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Ez Mil and his management stand firm on not altering the controversial line of the rap song Panalo.
“Ez Mil and his management have maintained that he had already issued his apology regarding the issue in an interview last Feb. 1,” Hbom Segovia, the rapper’s manager said based on the report.
Previously, the rapper apologized over the controversial line but defended that it was his right as an artist. He stressed that he knows about the Philippine history that Lapu-Lapu did not die in Mactan.
