Recently, a rap song performance on Wish USA bus hooked the attention of viewers and instantly made rounds on social media. It was a performance of Ez Mil, a Filipino-Caucasian rapper.
Ez Mil stressed in the lyrics of his rap song that he is a Filipino regardless of what other people think or call him. Many people were moved by how the rapper takes pride in being a Filipino.
The rapper gained instant popularity and as well as his viral rap song that he entitled Panalo. However, on the other side, many people living in Lapu-Lapu City were disappointed by what he stated in his lyrics.
Ez Mil wrote that Lapu Lapu died – which is contrary to the facts in the Philippine history. As for the rapper, it was his choice to spark talk among the listeners. Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Ahong Chan wants Ez Mil declared as persona non grata in their city for it.
