Here’s what Vice Ganda said about the new project of Ion Perez
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda shared his reaction to the onscreen tandem of his partner Ion Perez with social media personality-turned-actress Sunshine Guimary.
Vice and Ion have been together for two years now and apparently, their relationship is going strong. For the new movie project of Ion, Vice showed support for him.
Based on the article in ABS-CBN, the Unkabogable star was asked about the tandem of Ion and Sunshine in the movie Kaka.
“Siyempre, alam ko ‘yon kasi ako ang manager ni Jackie atsaka ni Ion. Ako ang pumirma sa kontrata,” he said referring to Jackie Gonzaga, also known as Ate Girl in the Kapamilya noontime show.
Vice Ganda revealed that he feels excited about the new career milestone of his boyfriend. “Nasa showbiz tayo. Trabaho ‘yun. Kikita siya doon. Para may pambili siya ng bagong rubber shoes!” he said in jest.
He also shared that first reaction of Ion when this project was pitched to him, “May laplapan?” For Vice, this is not a big deal and he does not mind Ion doing this kind of scene in a movie.
“Super support ako, ‘no. Siyempre success niya ‘yun. Atsaka Ion is a different person. Iba kay Ion, iba kay Vice. Hindi pag-aari ni Vice si Ion. Si Vice din, hindi pag-aari ni Ion. Puwede siya lumipad. Lipad ka lang diyan, papalakpakan kita, go!” the comedian-host said.
He added that if he is supporting and clapping enthusiastically for other people’s success and achievements just like what he does for Tawag Ng Tanghalan contestants, he will do even more to his “dyowa”.
