PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day February 1, 2021 (Monday).

The latest update from the state weather bureau says that the Northeast Monsoon will affect the entire country on this day.

According to the bureau’s official website, the northeast monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains.

The said weather system will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Based on the report, for the wind and coastal water condition forecast, Northern Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast to east direction, while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and the northern and eastern section of Mindanao will also face moderate to strong winds, but are moving in the northeast direction, while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are also moving in the northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
