What does Toni Gonzaga want her child to become in the future?
TONI GONZAGA – Multimedia star Toni Gonzaga has this view and opinion over her son Seve joining show business industry in the near future.
As a mother, to be overly protective is just a normal tendency. And as for Toni Gonzaga, Kapamilya network’s multimedia star and one of the highly-respected hosts of the industry, she doesn’t want her son to join the show business industry.
In her own view, she doesn’t want Seve to go through the things she’s been through. However, since she and her husband director Paul Soriano are in the same field, they are also not closing doors to this possibility. Only if she would have it her way, she wanted her son to pursue a different. This kind of mindset was of Toni’s way back in 2018.
Now, in one of the recent interviews she attended, her outlook changed and she became more open-minded about what her son wanted to be. In her radio interview with RX 93.1, she realized that such mindset is unfair as she is already “limiting his potential” at a young age.
From now on, what she just wanted her son to be is to follow his heart and to be whatever he wants to be may it be joining show business or not. She shared, “What I tell him now is, ‘You know what, you can be who you ever want to be because I will be here. I will support you and I will just encourage you. Whatever it is that you want to do, whatever it is that is in your heart, whatever interest that you have, I will support you.'”
Now that she herself is already a parent, it struck her that the best thing to do for a child is to allow them to be theirselves and find their own passion. One thing that she would just is to be always there for her son in whatever endeavors he wants.
