Drunk Man Dies After Woman He Allegedly Hugged Stabbed Him
A 48-year-old man dies after being stabbed to death by the woman he allegedly hugged in Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
In a report of Bombo Radyo Bacolod, a 48-year-old man died in the town of Moises Padilla after he was killed by a 49-year-old woman in Sitio Loblob, Barangay Magallon Cadre, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental on Tuesday.
According to Police Captain Randy Babor, chief of the Moises Padilla Municipal Police Station, the victim, Rene Lusaran, who is a sugarcane worker, was under the influence of alcohol when he went to the home of suspect Marlyn Bargayo on Tuesday.

Babor said that they do not know what the is relationship between the two. However, it was learned that Lusaran has been aiming for Bargayo for several days and he often goes to the house being drunk.
Being under the influence of intoxicating liquor, Lusaran went to Bargayo’s house and hardly knocking it. When Bargayo came out, he hugged it tightly and said he loved it.
But the victim did not know that Bargayo was carrying a knife and he was suddenly stabbed in the stomach. According to Babor, the knife used was too long that the victim’s inner organs were severely affected and lead him to death.
Lusaran was found dead on the spot. When the authorities approached the area, Bargayo voluntarily surrendered and did not resist the arrest anymore.
