A lady customer gets surprised after she discovered the price of malunggay leaves at a Chinese grocery store in Canada.
A Facebook user named Maggie Glas has shared the photos of a 1.08 pound of malunggay leaves being sold at a Chinese grocery store in Canada. The post elicits reactions from the social media users.
In the photos, it can be seen that the pack of malunggay leaves were being sold at USD$ 14.03. The vegetable leaves are for sale in Btrust supermarket in Canada. The price of “moringa oleifera” at Btrust is too expensive compared to its price in the Philippines.
Glas and her daughter went to the grocery store to buy moringa leaves for ‘tinola’. They were shocked after seeing the price of the leaves. However, they bought it just to satisfy their craving from a Filipino cuisine.
