This is not new for Filipinos as it is one of the main dishes in the country. Before modern technology makes people live in a simple and easy way Filipinos use the cauldron to cook rice in the fire.

It every rice cook there is always a scorched or burn surface on the bottom of the rice due to uncontrollable flame or heat. Scorched rice is always neglected because it can’t be eaten anymore, but netizens are amazed after they seen the neglected rice was for sale in the united states.

Recently, netizen of Facebook named Rich Ajibola shared a picture of it and said on the caption “Scorched what? That’s the rice at the bottom of the pot.” he also uploaded a photo of the scorched rice with packaging and price tag found at $ 7.58 or the equivalent of P384.73 in the Philippines.

The photo has gone viral on social media as netizens are wowed by the value of neglected rice in other countries. Filipino netizens were glad it was being sold in overseas.

Filipino jokes to it because one of the main dishes in the country and it is an opportunity to start a business. This post currently has over 16k reactions and 49k shares.
