ABS-CBN, TV5 Partnership: “ASAP Natin ‘To” and “FPJ: Da King” To Air In TV5

Regarding ABS-CBN, TV5 Partnership, “ASAP Natin ‘To” and “FPJ: Da King” will be now in Kapatid network.

ABS-CBN, TV5 PARTNERSHIP – Kapamilya shows “ASAP Natin ‘To” and “FPJ: Da King” will be now shown on Kapatid network starting January 24.

The ABS-CBN network’s franchise renewal bid has been junked in the House Franchise Committee. During the final hearing, the bid has been flooded with “Yes” votes which means that 70 lawmakers agreed to junk the resolution renewing the franchise of the biggest network in the country.

In a previous article, an article written by Ricky Lo confirmed that ABS-CBN Network and Cignal-TV5 will unite. Such partnership will accordingly be a win-win situation for both networks. Both of them will benefit where Kapamilya network will have a “wider free-TV reach nationwide” while the TV5 will become an extended home for the Kapamilya artists.

To recall, Maja SalvadorBilly CrawfordPiolo Pascual, and many others transferred to TV5 when ABS-CBN officially stopped operating. And officially announced today, beginning January 24, “ASAP Natin ‘To” and “FPJ: Da King” will be shown TV5.

The president and CEO of Cignal and TV5 said, “This collaboration between CIGNAL, TV5, Brightlight Productions, and ABS-CBN marks the start of greater cooperation among our various industry players & begins a new era of partnership.”

This partnership aims to “serve the viewers in the best way possible”. This has become an additional venue for ABS-CBN to air their longest variety show. People can now also watch “FPJ: Da King” every Sunday from 2 to 4 in the afternoon.

Aside from free-TV channel, people can also see TV5 through Cignal, Sky Cable, and other cable providers.
